    I was reading in the garden one early evening, at my grandparents house. I had a wide glass can of water on my table, and suddenly a lot of noise and a sudden visitor.
    Yes, I do know I made it a bit more colourful than the frog intended to be.I spiced up the red, the green just a little bit.
    A summer feeling, so long ago. Gray weather outside, drizzling, just wait a while, sleep well "frogs and bugs".

  3. Nice poem and story and picture! I didn't notice the colors where beefed up till you said so.

    Indeed summer is suddenly over :( but I am looking forward to hit the forest to go mushroom photographing :)

"Rana temporaria" is found throughout much of Europe as far north as well north of the Arctic Circle in Scandinavia and as far east as the Urals, except for most of Iberia, southern Italy, and the southern Balkans. The farthest west it can be found is Ireland, where it has long been thought erroneously to be an entirely introduced species.
