Poor man's orchid The dutch name means &#039;poor man&#039;s orchid&#039;. I think that this plant doesn&#039;t deserve that name. It has a nice color, shape and even drops of fluid on the stigma.<br />

''Tricyrtis macropoda'' is a hardy perennial in the family Liliaceae that is native to China, typically growing on grassy slopes, forests, and crevices at 800 to 2,400 m elevation. Flowers have reflexed tepals that are greenish white or white, with purple-red spots, blooming from June-October.
