Tall Vervain

Pink-purple small flowers growing in clusters on long stems. It can grow up to 6 feet tall. It self-seeds and is an invasive plant in the United States.

The Purpletop Vervain

"Verbena bonariensis" is a member of the verbena family cultivated as a flowering annual or herbaceous perennial plant. It is native to tropical South America where it grows throughout most of the warm regions, from Colombia and Brazil to Argentina and Chile.
