    1. Ha! Yes, very carpet-like. I imagine that caterpillars need to look awesome, colorful, and often crazy so that nothing wants to eat them. Otherwise, they wouldn't reach adulthood and wouldn't reproduce. Likewise, it benefits night-flying moths to be small and dull so they can blend in... Posted 7 years ago
