  2. What is the chance you getting them both sharp in macro, fading out in front of the first, at the end of the last. Respect well earned! If I would have any say in it: worth a promotion! Posted 12 years ago
    1. I am starting to learn at which speed to move towards darters so they don't fly away. Strange is that when you are close, you can do a lot of re-positioning with the camera without the darter flying away.

      I agree with you about the promotion. And although Ferdy is now the 'captain on deck' I took the freedom to promote it :)

    Both sharp is also very nice, I experimented with only one sharp.

    Working on the next generation The male skimmer is the blue one, the female has a yellow body with black bands. Geotagged,Keeled Skimmer,Orthetrum coerulescens,The Netherlands

The Common Darter is a dragonfly of the family Libellulidae native to Eurasia. It is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe, occurring in a wide variety of water bodies, though with a preference for breeding in still water such as ponds and lakes. In the south of its range adults are on the wing all year round.
