Purple Crab Land terrestrial crab, possibly from the genus Arachnothelphusa. Carapace mostly brown/dark brown in colour with hints of purple on legs and claws. Saw several of them, usually in crevices of tree trunks which collects waters and at night time, they come out, even to the ground, to feed.<br />

    I can't identify your spotting yet so I'll just put the species suggestion in this comment.
    This is a most possibly an A. merarapensis.

      Don't pretend to be a humble Green Fly ;), in fact the Green Fly can drive a Lion crazy, if it wants to! lol
