  3. Thanks for the kind words! It was interesting actually. There were 5 species of woodcreepers in that forest. Two were really rare, and I only saw them a couple of times. Two were rather uncommon, and I ran into them a few times a month. All four of these were also quite skittish. And then these guys were all over the place, and very, very unafraid of people, hence the nice photos :) Posted 7 years ago

The ivory-billed woodcreeper is a species of bird in the subfamily Dendrocolaptinae.

It is found in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
