Female Basilisk, Bahia Solano, Colombia
My notes only say "female basilisk" without mentioning the specific species. Visually it looks most like the female of the common Basilisk, and I identified it as such. I could be wrong though, at this area is full of western basilisks. As far as I can tell, the female of the western basilisk looks different.

The Common Basilisk is a lizard found in Central and South American rainforests near rivers and streams. The basilisk is part of the corytophanid family. It is also known as the Jesus Lizard, Jesus Christ Lizard, or ''Lagarto de Jesus Cristo'' for its ability to run on the surface of water.
