Common Snowdrop Among the first bulbs to bloom in spring, snowdrops have an erect, leafless scape with a solitary, bell-shaped white flower. The flower has six segments - the outer three are larger and more convex than the inner three. The inner segments are usually marked on their outer surface with a green U-shaped mark over the notch at the tip of each tepal. The inner surface has a faint green mark covering most of it.
