The golden-crowned flycatcher is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest.
