Lesser Flamingo
Being a social bird, I was finding difficult to isolate one flamingo to take a portrait. It's a common behavior where they either stand straight with their neck right upwards or stroll on the water in search of food, mostly algae or fish, with their beak rubbing on the water. They can also be found with their head dipped inside water when they find their food. This is one such moment where the Flamingo was scanning for the food.

The Lesser Flamingo is a species of flamingo occurring in sub-Saharan Africa with another population in India. Birds are occasionally reported from further north, but these are generally considered vagrants.
