Northern Saw-whet Owl

This gorgeous girl's name is Herra. She's a wild owl who was hit by a car and sustained a wing injury, which unfortunately did not heal properly. She also had a broken toe that resulted in the loss of a talon. Due to her injuries, she won't be able to be released back into the wild, but will be well-cared for at an animal rehabilitation center in Connecticut.
