I'll also provide some background on what typically causes this problem: Wikipedia redirects. Try searching for "Boletus chippewaensis" on english Wikipedia and instead you arrive at this page:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boletus_edulis
Here you can see evidence of this happening:

Normally, redirects at Wikipedia are a good thing. They map many possible search terms to the correct record. JungleDragon automatically picks up this redirect logic so that within JD, you can search for many variants of a species' name and typically still end up at the correct record. Often it even tolerates slight misspellings. All of this makes searching for species names more user-friendly and tolerant.
In this case, however, the Wikipedia redirect is in error. The names don't seem synonyms so it doesn't make sense that Wikipedia maps to another species. In turn, JungleDragon picks up this faulty mapping automatically, and that's why you face this problem.
The short version: like you did, just ping me and I will fix the synonym mapping. But hopefully the longer version above explains how these errors come into existence. Even after fixing it, the problem may return when people search for a term not yet known to JD, as the wrong redirect that is still in place at Wikipedia will once again be picked up. Largely theoretical in this case, but possible. Posted 6 years ago
I totally forgot about this one too, until I had another of the same species to upload yesterday ;) Posted 6 years ago
