    1. Indeed. I only saw at home on the computer that the purple and black background really add to the overall picture.
      The background is an area where I can improve my macro pictures I think. I know by now how to get the foreground right, now it is time to pay more attention to the background.

''Lestes sponsa'', is a damselfly, with a wide Palaearctic distribution. It is known commonly as the emerald damselfly or common spreadwing. Both males and females have a metallic green colour and when resting its wings are usually half opened.
