Wingia Moth -1 (Ptyoptila matutinella) This wingia moth had pale pink basal part of the fore wings and a yellow outer part which trailed off to a deep reddish brown along the margin. A lateral shot showed an erect crest of hairs at the thorax. Costal region of the wings also had an orange blush. <br />
Each fore wing had two dark dots in the mid region. Wing span was about 25 mm.<br />

''Ptyoptila'' is a genus of moths of the Oecophoridae family. It contains only one species, ''Ptyoptila matutinella'' which was described by Walker in 1864 and is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria.
