
Jumping spider ( Lycidas scutulatus) ambushed Lydia Lichen Moth ( Asura lydia)
This was one of them unexpected moments. Whilst I photographed the Lichen Moth the little Jumping Spider jumped on top of it from nowhere . The moth didn't even move an eyelid so to speak.
It just sat there and the spider was obviously biting it with her fangs to kill the moth.

Anyway, while they seem to agree about the name change, there are some discrepancies about the ID.

By the way, you don't need to send the same species creation request twice when you have two photos of the same species. That's how we ended up with two entries. Posted 7 years ago
