''Asota plagiata'' is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1875. It is found in China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Sikkim, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
