Secretary Bird, a bird of beauty and terror
The Secretary Bird is remarkeable in many ways. Its appearence is a bit unusual as it seems like a hybird between an eagle and a crane bird. It's hunting skills are diverse and brutal, and range from ambushing prey, crushing their backs, dropping them from great heights and swallowing them whole and alive. Some scientists believe their aggresive yet creative behavior resembles that of terror birds: raptor-like half-birds from the dinosaur age.

The Secretarybird or Secretary Bird is a large, mostly terrestrial bird of prey. Endemic to Africa, it is usually found in the open grasslands and savannah of the sub-Sahara. Although a member of the order Accipitriformes, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as kites, buzzards, vultures, and harriers, it is given its own family, Sagittariidae.
