Connected! A pair of Nudibranch - Pteraeolidia semperi mating.<br />
Although Nudibranch are Hermaphrodites, they still needs to mate for reproduction.  Their genitalia is located behind their head on the right side.  For mating, they will have to meet side by side as shown in the picture and expose their genitalia to get connected with each other.
