  1. Can you clarify 'first sighting'? For you? Or first sighting ever? Should I create the species record?

    1. Ferdy This is the first sighting for me. In fact it gets more complicated.
      I found three specimens of Paropsisterna nigrostillata at this location but they tested to be two distinct species. Therefore my second species is either Paropsisterna inspersa or an entirely cryptic species. I am making an inquiry and will create a species record for this beetle when I am more certain. I shall add a (poss.) in the title in the meantime.

Paropsisterna nigrostillata is a small aropsine leaf beetle and quite scarce. It is recorded for SE Australia in Victoria.
