Paropsisterna delmastroi This beetle from far north Queensland (FNQ) was found by Matthew Connors  It is the form of Paropsisterna morio/Ps#02  that occurs in the northern part of the state.     1. Yes, that is a good name. Delamstroi is a modern Italian entomologist and this beetle was named his his buddy, Daccordi in 2003 Posted 7 years ago

Paropsisterna delmastroi is a nitid, dark beetle with fine puncturations on the elytra and fovea on the submarginal zones of the pronotum. They are often found under bark of eucalyptus and occur most commonly in central to northeast Queensland.
