      Unfortunately, this are just juveniles. I have seen the adults and bigger Mahi-Mahi, and they are very impressive with striking colours, but only on sport fishing trips with my friends. Would love to see them again, but more specifically the bigger ones :D

      And this actually rounds up the list in the Pelagic Expedition I was on, to encounter the Striped Marlins, Sailfish and Mahi-Mahi, all in one trip :)

The mahi-mahi or common dolphinfish is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. Also widely called dorado and dolphin, it is one of two members of the Coryphaenidae family, the other being the pompano dolphinfish. Mahi means very strong in Hawaiian.
