Good morning, Cloud Forest From the peak of Tatama National Park, a first look around the cloud forest. A type of eco system we had not seen before on any previous journeys. Key characteristic of this type of forest (besides elevation) are the extremely moist conditions. This is reflected in the vegetation, where you can see every tree covered in moss and vascular plants. On top of that layer are fungi, and sometimes rare orchids. A single tree in this type of forest seems like an ecosystem in itself. <br />

Quite a nightmare for a macro photographer, since you want to spend an hour at each and every single tree, but there&#039;s so much distance to cover.
