I was a bit intimidated when reading about paper wasps where it is stated that there's over a 1,000 species, over half of those in the tropics.
How unique do you think this stripe pattern is, enough to identify it?

There is a type of Pollen wasp that mimics the yellowjacket but don't live in the tropics.
I could spend all day trying if I had the time and probably still be no nearer, but the fun is how much you learn in the process! Posted 7 years ago
