Hemp-leaved hollyhock

''Althaea cannabina'', commonly called palm-leaf marshmallow or hemp-leaved hollyhock, is a perennial herb belonging to the genus ''Althaea'' of the Malvaceae family. The leaves resemble those of hemp (Cannabis sativa), hence the specific epithet ''cannabina'' ("hemp-like").
