    1. This year has been bad for mushrooms :( First it was too warm and too dry for many varieties to fruit and then it suddenly snowed! We had one of our earliest snows ever.... which will probably mean many will never come up at all this year. There are a ton of Armillaria (honey mushrooms) though.. I guess the conditions were good for them, because they are everywhere.. Posted 7 years ago
      1. Sorry to hear that!
        I have a somewhat different problem. At the peak of mushroom season here, I'm usually away on our yearly trip, after that work has a peak load.

        So I often miss it, which is a pity, as fungi photography is really enjoyable, the only discipline where I control the subject :)

Psathyrella corrugis, is the type species of the basidiomycete fungus genus Psathyrella and family Psathyrellaceae. Originally described from Europe as Agaricus corrugis the species is considered non-toxic but lacking in flesh, flavor and texture. It is inedible.
