  1. Howdy, this is not Porcelli scaber or any other Porcellionidae, but rather an Armadillidiidae and in Australia it should be the itroduced species Armadillidium vulgare I've taken the liberty to change the ID etc. Cheers, Arp Posted 7 years ago
      1. Hi Sugian(?) The images on the linked site _do_ show Porcellio scaber. Look again at both, they're really quite different animals: Porcellio scaber is flat and rough, Armadillidium vulgare is much higher/convex and smooth. Cheers, Arp Posted 7 years ago

"Armadillidium vulgare", the pill-bug, potato bug, pill woodlouse, roly-poly, doodle bug, or carpenter, is a widespread European species of woodlouse. It is the most extensively investigated terrestrial isopod species.
