Scarce species in the Netherlands, first recorded in 2005.
The higher classification of Opiliones is still being discussed. European workers (around Dr, Martens) will have the Sclerosomatidae as a very small family (in Europe only including Mastobunus) and will put many other genera in a much broader concept op Phalangiidae.
