    1. Jivko, these birds are very similar, but since Antonio is from Canada, this is more likely to be a black-capped chickadee (Poecile atricapillus), the sombre tit being an Eurasian species. That's why we usually ask people where was the photo taken or look where they come from, if this is mentioned. Posted 11 years ago, modified 11 years ago
  2. I see, I didn't pay attention where Antonio is from and the pic is not geotagged. You are right. Anyway, it was in a wrong species ID - Blue Tit. I shall revise it. Posted 11 years ago

The black-capped chickadee is a small, nonmigratory, North American songbird that lives in deciduous and mixed forests. It is a passerine bird in the tit family, the Paridae. It is the state bird of Massachusetts and Maine in the United States, and the provincial bird of New Brunswick in Canada.
