Harmonia vigintiduosignata - TwentseWelle
The other day I stumbled on a box with African beetles while doing some work in the museum TwentseWelle in Enschede (Netherlands) and it contained a Ladybird beetle I could not readily identify. Turns out it wasn't too hard: It looks a lot like a Harmonia and it has 22 spots, so when I found the name Harmonia vigintiduosignata for Africa somewhere that was a good lead :o)
I have only found two other images of this species on the internet, so I decided to augment that, even if these are just quick snapshots of an uncleaned museum specimen.
There is no date on the location tag, but the name Tanganyika suggests probably somewhere between 1961-65.
