This is one of few chrysomelids with nationwide distribution. The Western ones are all much lighter than the ones on the eastern seaboard.

Paropsis geographica is an Australian species of leaf beetle. This species is similar to P. marmorea and P. aegrota and P. lutea. They need a close comparison between the placement of the three main (largest) blotches on each elytra.
