  1. Check the large apical elytral spot. This is further back on your beetle and this means it is the much less common paropsisterna marmorea.
    They are really, really, really similar but distinguished by this feature alone, (and different distribution which largely overlaps). However, they are two species according to dissection so we must be pedantic.

Paropsis geographica is an Australian species of leaf beetle. This species is similar to P. marmorea and P. aegrota and P. lutea. They need a close comparison between the placement of the three main (largest) blotches on each elytra.
