    Yes just going to say Flattened Body maybe going under a space like a door, read a lot of about night adders on Facebook there is a group from S.Africa who give advice and snake identity and snake catchers Oddfeel.

The Spotted night adder

"Causus maculatus" is venomous viper species found mainly in West- and Central Africa. No subspecies are currently recognized. Common names include forest rhombic night adder, West African night adder and spotted night adder.'
