    2. PS: When you have time, you really should go check out this new tiger "island" at the Beekse Bergen. Very open and accessible, no fences blocking your view.

      It's also fun to watch other people there. Their response to these tigers. They really are universally beautiful. Everybody just shuts up and freezes once they are eye to eye.

The Siberian tiger, also known as the Amur tiger, is a tiger subspecies inhabiting mainly the Sikhote Alin mountain region with a small subpopulation in southwest Primorye province in the Russian Far East.
