  1. I often saw photographs of moths with impressive antennae and I wanted to make pictures like that too, but never saw such moths. This time I finally found my big-antennae moth. Some moths have bigger antennae, but I am satisfied with these ones. Posted 13 years ago

''Lythria cruentaria'' is a moth of the family Geometridae. The species can be found in Europe.

The length of the forewings is 9–13 mm. The moths fly in two or three generations from the end of April to the end of September. The caterpillars feed on sorrel and sheep's sorrel.
