Erthesina acuminata Dallas, 1852 is one of the two currently recognized species of the genus Erthesina (Heteroptera, Pentatomidae, Halyini). The species have been described under various names and historically also some "Erthesina" have been described from Africa, but these are now considered to belong to different, be it closely related genera.
