Princes and Princesses My Messor Barbarus colony has after 5 years started producing the future Queens and drones. Looking in the nest I noticed something which I thought was a cricket wing casing moving around but upon investigating further, there&#039;s at least 2 Princesses and 4 drones. Judging by the size of some of the dolls - there are plenty more Princesses to come! <br />

  1. I had no idea it took 5 years, is that normal? Posted 8 years ago
    1. No idea to be honest. I'm pleased that I've managed to keep the colony healthy and steadily growing over the years. Ants are great lol Posted 8 years ago
