Ladybird with lots of spots

A small ladybird with about 12 spots.
It was difficult to count as some spots were merged. It did not look like a Harlequin.

I think the Harlequin it the best match. Here's a variety of elytral patterns.

It was a very small ladybird and didn't have any white 'eyes'. Are harlequins small? I guess they grow bigger though. Lol! Thanks for identification. Posted 8 years ago
