It shows that it is easy prey. As I approached, it flew a little further and the show began again. I guess it&#039;s the male, while the female is in the nest somewhere behind me.       I am sorry, I have missed this question, Ferdy! But it is right time now to answer it.
      I used to go to the same place - water ponds, marshes, dams, etc. - several times. Watching the birds and trying to locate places they like the most. Then next day I go early morning, before sunrise, find a suitable place, lay down, or sit on a small folding chair if appropriate bushes or reeds are around, cover myself with camouflage and wait, wait, wait.... Until a dog walker or an angler shows up and spoils everything! -:)       Posted 7 years ago

The Little Ringed Plover

The Little Ringed Plover is a small plover. Adults have a grey-brown back and wings, a white belly, and a white breast with one black neckband. They have a brown cap, a white forehead, a black mask around the eyes with white above and a short dark bill. The legs are flesh-coloured and the toes are all webbed.
