  1. This one has a brown head - it is a barn swallow (Hirundo rustica), not a House Martin.

      1. Thanks, but I didn't need much expertise for this one, along with the white stork this is the most common species building nests in the villages in Bulgaria :) Posted 8 years ago

The barn swallow is the most widespread species of swallow in the world. It is a distinctive passerine bird with blue upperparts, a long, deeply forked tail and curved, pointed wings. It is found in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
