  1. So weird to find a bird sleeping. I only first saw it about 6 years ago, before that I guess I've never thought about how/where they do it. Posted 8 years ago
    1. I think most animals needs to sleep, including marine animals. Saw a documentary on sleeping whales and even records of Sharks sleeping!

      One of my Brother used to keep some birds as pets, so was used to seeing birds sleeping. Love to see Kingfishers sleeping at night, their colours are so vibrant under the flashlight in the dark.

The rufous-tailed tailorbird is a species of bird formerly placed in the "Old World warbler" assemblage, it but now placed in the family Cisticolidae.
