Lovely species of woodpecker. Where Colombia's woodpeckers are a maze of confusion due to the numerous look-a-like species, this one is listed in the book as "unlike anything else". Here's the male and female individually before they found each other's company.

The cream-colored woodpecker is a species of woodpecker native to South America, from Colombia and the Guianas to Peru, Bolivia, and the eastern part of Brazil, including a southeast Brazil coastal strip.
