Silvered antbird - male, Inírida, Colombia Intentionally not cropping this to show the habitat of this antbird, which is a major pain to photograph. They&#039;re always in the shrubs, which makes it quite dark for photography, always on low twigs with lots of things obscuring it. Female nearby:<br />

    1. Forgot I even saw it, but then again, my memory is poor :) Hope you get to see them, to enrich your lifers.

Don't forget about new birds though. A little bird told me that moths, these silly light-hugging fly beasts, are on a crash course to overtake birds as the most numerous species on JungleDragon:

      Moths (including butterflies): 3,468
      Birds: 3,601

They're closing in. I don't know how much longer I can sustain bird superiority.

      1. Oh damn! Haha OK I'll ramp up my uploading. Still, we also have to look at the ratio
        species on JD/total species!

        1. Solid defense! Percentage wise it's unlikely moths ever will win. And if they do, we can say butterflies don't count. Phew. Posted 4 years ago
          1. There's always a way! Posted 4 years ago
