Yellowbarred Jawfish - Opistognathus randalli The Yellowbarred Jawfish - Opistognathus randalli has dark brown head and white body; 8-10 pale yellow to orange body bars; bright yellow mark on front of upper iris, yellowish dorsal, anal and tail fins, black spot on front of dorsal fin.<br />

The Jawfishes are mouth brooders, meaning they keeps the eggs in their mouth and releasing them when they are fully formed.  They lives in burrows among coral rubbles and usually only see them peeking out at the entrance of the hole.  Usually, there are a few of them living within each other and sometimes, when a male swims out to check out other burrows that has other males living int it, they will &#039;fight&#039; using their opened mouths.<br />

Yellowbarred Jawfish - Opistognathus randalli

The Yellowbarred Jawfish - Opistognathus randalli has dark brown head and white body; 8-10 pale yellow to orange body bars; bright yellow mark on front of upper iris, yellowish dorsal, anal and tail fins, black spot on front of dorsal fin.
