
Hunting
The Hairy Frogfish - Antennarius striatus like most species of Frogfishes has a an appendage above its mouth which it uses as a 'lure'. When hunting, they will flick the lure to attracts smaller fishes to come near to them and then they lunge and swallow their prey.
The striated frogfish or hairy frogfish, ''Antennarius striatus'', is a marine fish belonging to the family Antennariidae.
