Egg Shell Shrimp - Hamopontonia fungicola The Egg Shell Shrimp - Hamopontonia fungicola is small in size, usually around 1 - 1.5 cm and are mostly found living in Mushroom Corals.  The body is translucent with 2 white patches on its back, giving it, its common name - Egg Shell.  However, this 2 white patches serves to camouflage them in their Mushroom Coral host, as the tentacles of the Mushroom Corals have a round white tip.
