    1. lol - they are harmless unless you happen to be a bee larvae.. the adults feed on pollen and nectar, but they lay their eggs on the eggs of other insects, mostly bees, though sometimes grasshoppers or other insects. Posted 8 years ago

The Bombyliidae are a large family of flies comprising hundreds of genera, but the lifecycles of most species are known poorly, or not at all.
