  1. Bicyclus lamani is only found in 3 countries in Africa so it is not very likely to be found in Sri Lanka. Do you have a reference to confirm it?

This could be some species of Mycalesis.

    1. Hi, I have a feeling I made a mistake while searching for the species name in the name finder. I was trying to find the common bushbrown (Mycalesis perseus) Which is found in Sri Lanka. I corrected now, but thank you for pointing it out to me. Posted 8 years ago
      1. It is better to use the scientific name to avoid mistakes.
I think it is more likely Mycalesis mineus, it has 2 spots on the forewing, one larger than the other.
