Platanthera aquilonis, commonly called North Wind Bog Orchid, is widely distributed throughout western and central Canada, Alaska, the western and northern United States, as well as in the northern mid-Atlantic and New England. It produces an inflorescence of a few to many small, yellowish green flowers with an elongated, tapered labellum. The leaves along its stem taper to bracts near the flowers.
