  2. I love this beautiful bird and you have done such a great job of composing the image. The f5.6 gives a perfect depth of field in which to emphasize the jacamar. Posted 7 years ago
    1. Thanks a lot, Dave. I must be self critical on this one though, it's a big crop so quite noisy (see the tail). So composition happened afterwards via crop :) Posted 7 years ago

The green-tailed jacamar is a species of bird in the family Galbulidae. It is native to Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are moist lowland forests, both tropical and subtropical, and heavily degraded former forest.
